lazy saturday afternoon
thank god its the weekend! after a hectic week its nice to be able to just sit around and do nothing. especially when you dont have any homework or projects coming up. 5 hours of sleep, worth it?
holy fuck that was a busy week, working sunday, floor plan on monday till 2am, class till 8pm tuesday, drafting assignment due wednesday + 8am materials class, and now peace and quiet for the next 3 days. you know, i love architecture, but when you see a gorgeous building, the architect makes it look so easy. the hours that go into the even the most simple looking buildings is riddddicccuulous....
how i spent my thanksgiving weekend
something this simple shouldnt take 18 hours to complete :P the room sizes were given, and a maximum square footage was set. i had to decide on the dimensions, place and orient the rooms so that specific relationships occurred between spaces, draw it to scale and make it look pretty. my prof gave an approximate 8-10 hours of work time, mine took from sunday afternoon until 3:30am monday night :P...
